WHAT IS ALEVE (NAPROXEN)?
ALEVE (NAPROXEN) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID). Naproxen works by lowering the levels of hormones in the body that produce inflammation and pain. Aleve relieves minor aches and pains caused by arthritis, muscular aches, backache, menstrual cramps, headache, toothache, and the common cold. Aleve can also be used to lower fever for a short period of time.
ALEVE (NAPROXEN) is used to relieve pain from various conditions such as headache, muscle aches, tendonitis, dental pain, and menstrual cramps. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis, bursitis, and gout attacks. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body’s production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. HOW SHOULD I TAKE ALEVE?

If a kid is taking this medication, notify your doctor if the child’s weight changes. In children, naproxen doses are calculated based on weight, and any changes in weight may affect your child’s dose
