CONTOUR NEXT EZ METER

The Contour Next EZ Blood Glucose Meter is an over-the-counter (OTC) gadget that allows people with diabetes to self-test their glucose levels in whole blood at home. This meter should only be used by a single patient and should not be shared. With a customised Hi and Lo goal range and a summary of your blood glucose test results, it pinpoints trouble locations.

USES

CONTOUR NEXT test strips are intended for self-testing by persons with diabetes for the quantitative measurement of glucose in whole blood samples from 20 to 600 mg/dL. The CONTOUR NEXT control solutions are aqueous glucose solutions intended for use in self-testing by people with diabetes as a quality control check.

WARNING

• The meter and lancing device are for single patient
use. Do not share them with anyone including other family members. Do not use on multiple patients.

• Even after washing and disinfection, all pieces of the kit are considered biohazardous and might potentially transmit infectious diseases.

• Always wash your hands well with soap and water before and after testing, handling the meter, lancing device, or test strips.

STORAGE

Store strips in their sealed container; keep them away from heat, moisture and humidity. Be sure the strips are meant for your specific glucose meter. Keep your glucose meter and test strips at room temperature.
