WHAT IS CORTISONE?

 

Cortisone is a steroid medication used to treat inflammation produced by a variety of illnesses, including allergic reactions, skin issues, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, and breathing difficulties.

HOW SHOULD I TAKE CORTISONE? 

 

Read all drug guides or instruction sheets and follow all guidelines on your prescription label. Your doctor may adjust your dose from time to time. Follow the medication’s instructions to the letter.
Due to surgery, illness, stress, fever, or infection, your dose requirements may fluctuate. Do not adjust your cortisone dosage or stop using it without consulting your doctor.
