DESCRIPTION

 

Lancets are the fine needles used with a lancing device to draw a blood sample for glucose testing. OneTouch UltraSoft Lancets have a thin tip for make testing less painful. 28 gauge lancing device allows for smaller sample collections. Supports alternate site claims for testing on arm. For use with the OneTouch Ultra and OneTouch UltraSmart Meters and the OneTouch InDuo System.

HOW DO YOU USE ULTRASOFT LANCETS?

 

  • Eject lancet from lancing device and snap-on safety cap before discarding.
  • Dry well.
  • Load lancet into lancing device and twist off protective cap.
  • Choose a spot on the side of a different finger each time you take a blood sample.
  • Follow lancing device manufacturer’s instructions for obtaining a blood sample.

WARNINGS

 

For your safety, never share a lancet with another person.
Sterile: Do not use if protective disk has been damaged or removed.

 

STORAGE

 

There are no special storage conditions. Store with the carrying case that came with your system.

 

CAUTION: Keep the lancing  away from young children. The lancing device, cap, lancets and lancet protective covers are choking hazards.
