BRILINTA

Brilinta (ticagrelor) prevents platelets in your blood from sticking together to form an unwanted blood clot that could block an artery. It is used to lower your risk of heart attack, stroke, or death due to a blocked artery or a prior heart attack. This is also used to lower your risk of blood clots if you have coronary artery disease (decreased blood flow to the heart) and have been treated with stents to open clogged arteries.

Brilinta is also used to lower your risk of a first heart attack or stroke if you have decreased blood flow to the heart. It is also used to lower the risk of stroke and death in adults with a blockage or decreased blood flow in an artery that supplies blood to the brain. This medicine is usually given together with low-dose aspirin. Carefully follow your doctor’s dosing instructions. Using too much aspirin can make ticagrelor less effective.

USES

Ticagrelor is used along with low-dose aspirin to help prevent heart attack and stroke in people with a history of heart disease, stroke, or at increased risk for heart disease or stroke (for example, due to diabetes, history of transient ischemic attack-TIA). It may also prevent blood clots after certain heart surgeries (such as stent placement).

MISSED DOSE

If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

STORAGE

Different brands of this medication have different storage needs. Check the product package for instructions on how to store your brand, or ask your pharmacist. Keep all medications away from children and pets.

OVERDOSE

Call 911 if someone has overdosed and is experiencing serious symptoms such as passing out or having problems breathing. Otherwise, contact a poison control center as soon as possible.

WHAT DRUGS AND FOOD SHOULD I AVOID WHILE TAKING BRILINTA (TICAGRELOR)?

Drinking alcohol while taking aspirin can increase your risk of stomach bleeding. Avoid activities that may increase your risk of bleeding or injury. Use extra care to prevent bleeding while shaving or brushing your teeth. While taking ticagrelor with aspirin, avoid using medicines for pain, fever, swelling, or cold/flu symptoms. They may contain ingredients similar to aspirin (such as salicylates, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, or naproxen). Taking certain products together can cause you to get too much aspirin which can increase your risk of bleeding.

WILL I NEED TO USE THIS DRUG LONG TERM?

Brilinta is meant to be used as a long-term treatment. Current treatment guidelines recommend that most people who take Brilinta should be on the drug for at least 6 to 12 months. If you and your doctor determine that Brilinta is safe and effective for you, you’ll likely take it long term.

IS BRILINTA A BLOOD THINNER?

Yes, Brilinta is considered a blood thinner. It’s an antiplatelet drug that works by stopping your platelets from being activated. Platelets are cells that stick together and form clots. So, by stopping the cells from being activated, Brilinta helps keep your blood thin and free of clots.

Brilinta contains the drug ticagrelor. It belongs to a class of drugs called antiplatelets, which are drugs that block the activity of platelets. Brilinta attaches to a protein (called the P2Y12 ADP-receptor) on the surface of platelets. When it attaches to this receptor, it keeps the platelets from being activated. This prevents your platelets from sticking together with other platelets, which lowers your risk of a clot. This can also lower your risk of serious cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes. You should take Brilinta according to your doctor’s or healthcare provider’s instructions. USA Script Helpers is here to help Americans to have access to approved and affordable medications including Brilinta.  USH offers PetMeds and human medications and ships to USA.  Place your order at USA Script Helpers and buy Canadian insulin.  USA Script Helpers has over 10 years of experience and offers the best price guaranteed for all Americans.  Place your order now.

Ganfort Eye Drops
Timolol Maleate, Bimatoprost
USA Script Helpers

BIMATOPROST 0.03%

belongs to a group of medicines called prostaglandin analogue. It is used to reduce pressure in your eyes. It increases the flow of fluid from inside the eye into the bloodstream thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. If the pressure in your eye is too high, it can damage your sight. Take it regularly as prescribed by your doctor. If you stop taking it, the pressure in your eye will not be controlled. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

This is also used to treat patients with not enough or inadequate eyelashes. Bimatoprost makes the eyelashes more noticeable by causing more eyelashes to grow and making them longer, thicker, and darker. Bimatoprost is similar to a natural chemical in the body (prostaglandin). Bimatoprost is also used to treat glaucoma. If you are already using or are directed to use bimatoprost to treat glaucoma, be careful not to get this eyelash medication into your eyes. Getting extra bimatoprost in your eyes may make it less effective for treating glaucoma.

USE

Bimatoprost eye drops are used to reduce high pressure in the eye. This medicine may be used on its own or with other drops called beta-blockers which also reduce pressure.

HOW TO USE

Use this medication once daily in the evening or as directed by your doctor. To apply this medication, first wash your hands and face. Remove any makeup and contact lenses. Contact lenses may be reinserted 15 minutes after applying this medication. Place one drop of this medication onto the provided applicator. Then right away draw the applicator carefully across the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the bottom of the eyelashes going from the inner part of your lash line to the outer part. Blot any excess solution that is applied beyond the eyelid margin. Throw away the applicator after applying the medication. Repeat with a new applicator for the other upper eyelid. This medication is not for use on the lower eyelids.

If any medication gets into the eye, do not rinse your eye. It is not likely to cause any harm if this medication gets into the eye, because it is the same medication that is used in the eyes to treat glaucoma. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eyelashes or any other surface. Do not rinse the dropper. Replace the dropper cap after each use, and keep the cap tightly closed. Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each evening. Do not use more of this medication than recommended. Using more will not make this medication work faster. It may take up to 2 months before the full benefits of using this medication are seen. When this medication is stopped, expect the appearance of the eyelashes to return to the way they looked before starting treatment with bimatoprost. It is possible that the effects between your two sets of eyelashes may not be the same. There may be differences in eyelash length, thickness, fullness, color, number or direction of growth. If any of these occur, talk to your doctor.

SIDE EFFECTS

Common side effects include: Itching of the eyes, growth of eyelashes, eye irritation, dry eyes, eye redness, eyelash darkening and reversible darkening of skin around the eyes. Bimatoprost may also cause permanent brown pigmentation in the colored part of the eye and hair growth in other areas of the body that it comes in contact with. Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: eye pain, suspected eye infection (discharge, unusual redness, swelling of eyes), rapid vision changes (such as loss of vision). A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

POSSIBLE QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE OTHER TIPS BEFORE USING THIS MEDICATION?

Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop.

HOW SHOULD I KEEP BIMATOPROST STORED?

Solutions should be store at 2 C to 25 C (36 F to 77 F).

Bimatoprost 0.03% is a medicine used to reduce pressure in the eyes in adults with glaucoma and high pressure in the eye. If the pressure in your eye is too high it can damage your sight, potentially leading to blindness. It works by helping fluid flow from inside the eye into the blood. Bimatoprost 0.03% is suitable for adults and children and can be used by itself or in combination with other eye medicines to reduce pressure. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use this medicine regularly to get the most benefit. If you stop using it, pressure in the eye could increase and damage your sight. Never use a bottle if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Make sure you remove contact lenses if you wear them and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back.

Nebivolol is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as beta blockers. WHAT IS THE CYCLOSPORINE EYE DROPS AND HOW TO USE

Ophthalmic cyclosporine is used to increase tear production in people with dry eye disease. Cyclosporine is in a class of medications called immunomodulators. It works by decreasing swelling in the eye to allow for tear production. Restasis ophthalmic emulsion is a prescription eye drop that helps patients increase their eyes’ natural ability to produce tears. It is used to treat a type of chronic dry eye condition caused by inflammation.

HOW TO USE CYCLOSPORINE EYE DROPS?

Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed. Use the medicine about every 12 hours. Remove contact lenses first. Wash your hands before using eye medication. To apply the eye drops: Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze a drop into this pocket. Close your eyes for 1 or 2 minutes. Turn the Restasis bottle upside down a few times to gently mix the medicine before each use. Use only the number of drops your doctor has prescribed. Wait at least 15 minutes before inserting contact lenses or using artificial tears. Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or place it directly on your eye. A contaminated dropper can infect your eye, which could lead to serious vision problems.

USES

Cyclosporine ophthalmic is used to treat chronic dry eye that may be caused by inflammation.

SIDE EFFECTS OF USING CYCLOSPORINE EYE DROPS

Eye discomfort/redness/itching, feeling as if something is in the eye, or temporary blurred vision may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing. This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects, contact your doctor or our licensed pharmacist.

STORAGE

Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Discard each single-use vial after one use in a place that is out of reach of children and pets. It is important to keep all medication out of sight and reach of children as many containers (such as weekly pill minders and those for eye drops, creams, patches, and inhalers) are not child-resistant and young children can open them easily. To protect young children from poisoning, always lock safety caps and immediately place the medication in a safe location – one that is up and away and out of their sight and reach

WHICH DRUG OR SUPPLEMENT INTERACT WITH CYCLOSPORINE-OPHTHALMIC?

The effectiveness of Restasis may be affected if administered with other eye drops. Patients using other eye drops should consult with their eye doctor for advice. Patients may use Restasis with artificial tears or over-the-counter eye lubricants, allowing a 15-minute interval between products.

Albuterol

Ventolin Respirator Solution (Undiluted)
Albuterol
USA Script Helpers

WHY IS ALBUTEROL SULFATE USED?

Albuterol is a prescription drug. It’s available as an inhalation suspension, nebulizer solution, inhalation powder, immediate-release tablet, extended-release tablet, or oral syrup. Albuterol inhalation suspension isn’t available as a generic drug. It’s only available as the brand-name drugs ProAir HFA, Ventolin HFA, and Proventil HFA. To help treat asthma symptoms, albuterol may be taken as part of a combination therapy with inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting beta agonists, and bronchodilators. This drug is used to treat or prevent bronchospasm, which is tightening and swelling of the muscles around the airways. It’s used in people with asthma (reversible obstructive airway disease). It’s also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Albuterol is a type of bronchodilator drug. It works by dilating the airways, making it easier to breathe for people who experience bronchospasm, or tightening of the airways. Albuterol sulfate (AccuNeb) is a liquid form of this medication. A nebulizer is a machine that turns liquid medicine into a fine mist. A person breathes this mist through a mouthpiece or face mask. These devices can make it easier to administer medications to a child. However, some younger children may find wearing a mask distressing, causing them to cry. This will make the nebulizer less effective. Nebulizers come in different shapes and sizes, with some bulkier than others. Some are battery powered and others come with a power cord. People may notice some nebulizers are noisier than others.

HOW TO USE?

Use albuterol inhalation exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not use albuterol inhalation in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Read all patient information, medication guides, and instruction sheets provided to you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. You may need to prime your albuterol inhaler device before the first use. Your medicine comes with directions for priming if needed. You may also need to shake your albuterol device just before each use. Keeping your inhaler clean is important to ensure you are receiving the medication.

OVERDOSE

If someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing, call 911. Otherwise, call a poison control center right away.

MISSED DOSE

If you are using albuterol regularly and miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Use your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

SIDE EFFECTS

Nervousness, dizziness, shaking (tremor), headache, nausea, mouth/throat dryness or irritation, or unusual taste may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

STORAGE

Store the metered dose inhaler at room temperature with the mouthpiece down. Keep this drug at a temperature between 59°F and 77°F (15°C and 25°C). Keep it away from extreme heat or cold. Temperatures above 120°F (49°C) may cause the canister to burst. Don’t store this medication in moist or damp areas, such as bathrooms.

WHO SHOULD NOT USE ABUTEROL?

Albuterol may not be suitable for some people. Before using albuterol with a nebulizer, a person should make their doctor aware of any underlying health conditions to ensure this medication does not interact with them. It is especially important to notify a doctor about: heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, hyperthyroidism, diabetes. If a person could have one of these conditions, they should ask a doctor to perform diagnostic tests to rule them out.

CAN PERSON GET ADDICTED TO ALBUTEROL?

A person cannot develop an addiction to albuterol. However, people may feel dependent on albuterol if their symptoms are severe. If this is the case, people should speak with a doctor about how to better control their symptoms. Some people need more than one type of medication to control asthma. Inhaling too much albuterol can cause: dry mouth,  Headache, nervousness, dizziness, fast heartbeat, chest pain, seizures. If someone has taken too much albuterol or experiences these symptoms after using it, they should call 911 or go straight to the emergency room.

Albuterol sulfate is a bronchodilator that expands the airways, allowing a person to breathe. Albuterol nebulizers allow people to inhale the medication as a mist. The medication can help manage the symptoms of conditions such as asthma and COPD. It is not an addictive medication, but people may feel dependent on their nebulizer if their symptoms are not well controlled. Always speak with a doctor before adjusting the dosage of albuterol.
