If you suddenly stop taking primidone, your seizures may become worse. Your doctor will probably decrease your dose gradually.

WARNINGS

While taking primidone, some people get suicidal thoughts. Keep a close eye on any changes in your mood or symptoms. Any new or worsening symptoms should be reported to your doctor. Even if you feel fine, do not abruptly stop taking primidone. Stopping abruptly may result in a rise in seizures.
