WHAT RESOTRANS IS USED FOR?
RESOTRANS tablets are used to treat long-term constipation in adults who have tried and failed to relieve their constipation using over-the-counter (over-the-counter) laxatives.
HOW MUCH TO TAKE
The most common dose is one 2 mg tablet once a day for most individuals. If you’re over 65, start with one 1 mg pill once a day, which your doctor may raise to 2 mg once a day if necessary. If you have severe kidney or liver illness, your doctor may prescribe a reduced dose of one 1 mg tablet daily.
IF YOU HAVE TAKEN TOO MUCH (OVERDOSE)
Immediately telephone your doctor or the Poisons Information Centre for advice or go to Accident and Emergency at your nearest hospital, if you think that you or anyone else may have taken too much RESOTRANS. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning. You may need urgent medical attention.
STORAGE
Keep your tablets sealed in their blister pack until you’re ready to use them. If you remove the tablet from the blister pack, it may not last as long.
Keep RESOTRANS in a cool, dry place where the temperature does not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. This medicine, like all other medicines, should not be kept in the bathroom or near a sink. It should not be left in the car or on the window sills.
