OVERVIEW

WHAT IS SAXAGLIPTIN?

In individuals with type 2 diabetes, saxagliptin is used in conjunction with diet and exercise to enhance blood sugar management. Type 1 diabetes is not treated with saxagliptin. Other diabetes drugs are sometimes used with saxagliptin.

If you develop hives, a purple or red skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling, difficulty breathing, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or neck, get emergency medical attention.

• joint discomfort that is severe or persistent;
• When you urinate, you may experience pain or a burning sensation; or Shortness of breath (even when lying down), feeling weak or exhausted, rapid weight gain, and swelling (particularly in your feet, legs, or belly) are all symptoms of cardiac problems.

HOW TO STORAGE
