Purpose of Sevikar HCT

Sevikar HCT contains three active substances called olmesartan medoxomil, amlodipine (as amlodipine besilate) and hydrochlorothiazide. All three substances help to control high blood pressure.

Sevikar HCT Uses

SEVIKAR HCT is indicated for the treatment of hypertension as an alternative to patients already taking olmesartan medoxomil, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide as separate tablets, or when a patient’s blood pressure is not controlled with the combination of the two. used as adjunctive therapy (see Dosage and Administration). This fixed-dose combination is not indicated for initial treatment

How do you use Sevikar HCT

Always take this medicine according to the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose of Sevikar HCT is one tablet daily. Tablets can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet with a liquid (such as a glass of water).

Do not take Sevikar HCT with grapefruit juice. If possible, have him take his daily dose at the same time each day, such as with breakfast.

The recommended dose of Sevikar HCT is 1 tablet per day.

Sevikar HCT Side Effects

Allergic reactions involving swelling of the face, mouth, and/or larynx (larynx) with itching and rashes may occur during treatment with Sevikar HCT.

Severe light-headedness or fainting, as Sevikar HCT can cause hypotension in sensitive individuals. If this happens, stop taking Sevikar HCT, call your doctor immediately and lie down.

Keep Sevikar HCT out of reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiration date printed on the carton, bottle, or blister after “EXP”.The expiration date refers to the last day of the month.
