Purpose of Tritace

Tritace is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems and complications in people over the age of 55 who have heart or blood vessel disease or diabetes. Tritace is used to lower high blood pressure (high blood pressure). This pressure causes blood to circulate throughout the body.

 

Tritace Uses

.Tri-Ace contains the drug ramipril. It belongs to a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors).

 

How do you use Tritace

Tritace can be taken orally. If you are already taking diuretics (water tablets), your doctor may stop taking them or reduce your dosage before starting treatment with TRITACE.

 

Tritace Dosage

The usual starting dose is 1.25 mg or 2.5 mg once a day. Your doctor will adjust the amount you take according to your appointment

 

Tritace Side Effects

 

  • Feeling dizzy
  • Fainting, hypotension (abnormally low blood pressure), especially when you stand or sit up quickly
  • Dry tickly cough, inflammation of your sinuses (sinusitis) or bronchitis, shortness of breath
  • Stomach or gut pain, diarrhea, indigestion, feeling or being sick • Skin rash with or without raised area
  • Chest pain
  • Cramps or pain in your muscles • Blood tests showing more potassium than usual in your blood

 

Tritace Storage

Do not use this medicine after the expiration date shown on cartons, blister packs, and bottles
