WHAT IS VENTOLIN EVOHALER?

Salbutamol is the active ingredient in the Ventolin Evohaler. This is a type of drug known as a quick acting bronchodilator.

USES

VENTOLIN EVOHALER is used to help prevent and treat breathing problems in people with asthma and chronic obstructive airways disease. VENTOLIN EVOHALER contains a propellant called Norflurane.

HOW TO USE VENTOLIN EVOHALER

STORAGE

• Store below 30°C.
• Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
• As with most inhaled medications in aerosol canisters, the therapeutic effect of this medication may decrease when the canister is cold.
• This canister contains a pressurized liquid. Do not expose to temperatures higher than 50oC. The canister should not be broken, punctured or burnt, even when empty.
• Replace the mouthpiece cover firmly and snap it into position.
