WHAT IS VENTOLIN?
Ventolin (albuterol) is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles and enhances lung air flow.
Adults and children above the age of four should use Ventolin HFA.
USES
Albuterol (also known as salbutamol) is used to prevent and treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing problems (such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). It is also used to prevent asthma brought on by exercise.
BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICINE
If you are allergic to albuterol, you should avoid using Ventolin.
Ventolin is not recommended for children under the age of four.
If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, a thyroid issue, seizures, diabetes, or low potassium levels in your blood, tell your doctor before taking this prescription.

STORAGE
Ventolin Inhaler should be stored below 30°C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. As with most inhaled medications in pressurized canisters, the therapeutic effect of this medication may decrease when the canister is cold. The canister should not be punctured, broken or burnt even when apparently empty.
