Purpose

Aggrenox is prescribed to patients who have had a mini stroke or transient ischemia attack (TIA). It is also given to patients who have had a stroke caused by a blood clot.

Uses

A stroke occurs when an artery gets blocked, disrupting blood flow to the brain. Aggrenox is prescribed to prevent another stroke from happening. Aggrenox belongs to a class of medications called antiplatelet agents.

How do you use Aggrenox?
