Purpose of Nasacort

Nasacort contains a medicine called triamcinolone acetonide. It belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. Nasacort works at the source to reduce inflammation and relieve allergic nasal congestion, sneezing, and itchy and runny noses. Nasacort is clearly not an antihistamine.

Breathe in slowly through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Put the cap back on the nasal aspirator. Do not blow your nose for 15 minutes after using this medicine

Nasacort Dosage

For adults, the usual dose is 2 sprays in each nostril, 1-2 times daily, or as directed by your doctor. For children, the usual dose is 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily or as directed by your doctor.
